Summary
PopStock Educational Services is seeking a Volunteer Flutter Developer (Unpaid) to join their team remotely. The role involves rebuilding their Android app into a cross-platform Flutter application, focusing on core app development and advanced UI/animation challenges.
About the Role
As a Volunteer Flutter Developer, you will be responsible for migrating the existing Android app into Flutter/Dart, building real-time trading simulations, creating financial data charts and dashboards, updating animations and motion graphics, implementing state management, and preparing the app for App Store and Google Play release. This role requires a commitment of 10–20 hours per week for a duration of 3–6 months.
About You
Required:
- Solid programming knowledge (Dart, Java/Kotlin, or similar).
- Experience with Flutter (or strong interest + ability to ramp quickly).
- Familiarity with REST APIs and WebSocket data streams.
- Git/GitHub for version control.
- Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivation.
Preferred:
- Prior Flutter app releases on iOS/Android.
- Deep knowledge of Flutter animations and UI frameworks.
- Experience with Rive, Lottie, or custom animation systems.
- Interest in financial/edtech apps.
