About the Role
As a Tool Builder, you will be responsible for building precision tooling and fixtures, interpreting blueprints, collaborating with engineers, and operating machining equipment. Your tasks will include troubleshooting tooling issues, performing quality inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 5+ years of experience setting up and operating lathes, Bridgeport’s, surface grinders, and other machine tools.
- 5+ years of experience using inspection gauges and equipment (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T.
- Strong understanding of customer requirements and industry specifications.
- Ability to manage projects independently from start to finish with minimal supervision.
- Solid mathematical skills for precision measurement and fabrication.
Preferred:
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to work varied shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively with management to meet production deadlines.
