About the Role
As a Software Engineering Technician, you will partner with engineering teams to provide innovative solutions and support for various technical tasks. Your responsibilities will include adapting existing code, maintaining engineering tools, documenting software relationships, troubleshooting IT infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with lab safety policies.
About You
Required:
- AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Experience with coding languages such as C/C++, Python, Java, or other comparable languages.
- Experience with software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting across Windows and Linux environments.
Preferred:
- Understanding of scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.
- Familiarity with tool license management and support for both software and electrical engineering teams.
- Experience with file management systems such as Subversion, GIT, BitBucket/SourceTree.
- Basic IT Certification such as CompTIA A+ or knowledge of basic IT and OS troubleshooting.
- Moderate-Advanced skill and knowledge of Windows OS and Office 365 Tools.
- Experience with Linux and Shell scripting.
