About the Role
As a part-time faculty member, you will be responsible for delivering educational content in the Adult Education and Noncredit Department. Your duties will include preparing and grading assignments, maintaining student records, participating in curriculum development, and engaging in departmental activities. The position may require evening and weekend hours, with a maximum teaching load of 10 units per semester.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree AND two (2) years of occupational experience related to the subject of the course taught OR
- Associate's degree AND six (6) years of occupational experience related to the subject of the course taught OR
- Professional experience is required when the applicant possesses a Master's degree.
- Possession of a full-time, clear California Designated Subjects Adult Education Teaching Credential authorizing instruction in the subject matter.
Preferred:
- Experience in teaching noncredit courses.
- Ability to promote and incorporate culturally affirming DEIA and anti-racist principles.
Benefits
