Central Wyoming Counseling Center is seeking a Mobile Crisis Peer Specialist to join their team in Casper, WY. The role involves providing critical support to individuals facing mental health crises and assisting in the delivery of services.
About the Role
As a Mobile Crisis Peer Specialist, you will respond to mobile crisis dispatches, provide on-site de-escalation, conduct suicide risk screenings, and offer emotional support to individuals in distress. You will document client interactions, maintain program materials, and collaborate with community partners to meet client needs.
About You
Required:
Minimum of an associate's degree or high school diploma/equivalent and 1 year of behavioral/mental health experience.
Peer Specialist Certification.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in human services (Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice) or other areas with one year of behavioral/mental health experience.
Certified Addictions Practitioner or Licensed Mental Health Professional.
