Summary
Lilly is seeking an Advisor - Engineering - IDM to join their team in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves providing technical leadership within the IDM Engineering team to lead aspects of scope development, design, delivery, and optimization of Device Platform for the IDM and Device network.
About the Role
As an Advisor - Engineering - IDM, you will lead technical aspects of new product commercialization, capacity expansion, and ongoing operations. Responsibilities include performing Design for Manufacturability reviews, leading requirements and control strategy generation, supporting assembly technology development, and providing troubleshooting support for operating assembly lines globally. You will also mentor technical team members and participate in platform Post Launch Optimization Team meetings.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or related industry working with high speed, discrete mechanical/process assembly & packaging equipment
- Experience with design of automated assembly machines and asset delivery
- Demonstrated ability to influence effectively across boundaries and work in a cross-discipline team
- Working knowledge of GMPs and proficiency with risk management and process/equipment commissioning & qualification practices
Preferred:
- Device assembly experience
- Control Strategy proficiency
- Experience with IDM OEM Equipment Manufacturing Base
- Previous Mentoring experience
- Advanced troubleshooting
- Presentation experience
