Collins Aerospace is seeking a Design Engineering Intern, Electrical for Summer 2026 to join their team in Burnsville, MN. The role involves participating in the mechanical design, testing, and troubleshooting of various types of sensors for the aviation industry.
About the Role
As a Design Engineering Intern, you will assist in developing data, making layouts, sketches, and notes for design proposals. You will participate in investigating design factors such as ease of manufacture and material availability, and assist in designing and testing structures or materials for engineering designs. This internship provides an opportunity to learn about major components of functional systems and improve products in manufacturing operations.
About You
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent and currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status).
Preferred:
Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering with a strong academic record and interest in circuit design, testing, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of analog design is a plus.
