About the Role
As a Claims Counsel, you will investigate, evaluate, and determine coverage and possible claim resolutions. You will manage claims and/or litigation to final resolution, negotiate with claimants and opposing counsel, participate in mediations, review invoices, and maintain documentation of claim file activity.
About You
Required:
- Strong organizational and verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Word, Outlook, & Excel.
- Licensed and in good standing (any jurisdiction is acceptable).
Preferred:
- 3 - 5 years experience in title insurance or related field or litigation experience.
- Basic knowledge of real property and insurance law.
